Here's where you'll find out what we're up to, and what's next for us!
First things first,... we are now taking credit cards via email and phone... using the latest Intuit products for safety for both of us. We expect to have a fully secure website with a shopping cart in a month or so.
August 2012 We have just finished the project for window wipers. We now have SWF reproduction wiper arms and blades for 1965 to 1967 in silver. We also have the SWF black wiper blades for 1968 to 1973. We will have the correct engine sound pad (dimpled) for the 1965 to 1970 cars in a couple of weeks.
March 2012, Getting ready for Essen next week. Not displaying this year as we need to see the new format with Porsche taking a different hall, so... we need to figure out where to place our booth.
We have received first samples of our wiper arms and blades and we will have production soon for both SWB (silver) and LWB (black).
We've just launched 5 new colors of our hounds tooth fabric, and we've had great response to them.
Several new products are on the horizon, including a well priced 100L steel tank!
February 2012, We are getting ready for the LA Lit show and Swap Meet. New product launches at these shows include our D shaped headrest, and the grey seal for the SWB horn grills. We should also have our first prototypes of the SWB silver wiper arms and blades, as well as the correct black wiper blades for the 68 to 73 cars.
October 29th, 2011 Just got back from Rennsport.... quite the amazing event, absolute Porsche Mania in overdrive! We had a booth (last minute) and displayed our newest items including: Factory option roof rack, SWB window winders (caps available too!), and the debut of our LWB horn grills for fog and driving lights. We will have SWB grills for fog lights in 2 weeks (promise!), and also SWB standard grills also. We've finished up the prototype for the "D" shaped headrest (Autobahn Interiors approved!), and have many more items in the works.
June 20th, 2011 Well, summer is finally upon us here, time to get out and DRIVE!
We did the RGruppe event in Monterey last month and had a great time showing off our new car trailer made up like a "man room". We towed down our 1967 911S with 104K original miles, and 1/2 original paint. It's been updated with a 2.7RS spec twin plug engine, rally buckets, 100L gas tank, etc. etc. We came away with a "GT" award from the event along with several other well deserving cars.
We have new parts in the pipeline, and it appears that many are going to arrive at the same time. Horn grills are still coming, as are bumper end caps for SWB cars, roof racks like factory original, window winders for 65-67 cars, muffler tips for 912's, etc. etc. Keep Checking back!
April 10th, 2011 Well, we did the Essen show! Absolutely amazing, 1,700,000 sq. ft of vintage cars, restoration shops and parts, vintage memorabilia, etc. etc. Over 200,000 people over 4 days in Essen.
We had a small corner of a friends booth (thanks Carlo!) and shared it with Marek who also makes some fantastic parts for Early 911's and 912's. Met some great people and looking forward to some great future distribution at some great retail shops and restoration houses. Also have to make sure I mention the great members we met of the DDK in the UK, and also some great Early S Members from Holland, Denmark, Norway, Germany, Italy and Sweden.
Our next show is at the RGruppe Treffen in Monterey in Mid May. Looking forward to seeing all my friends there, and hopefully will have some new items to show there. I'll be going with Gary Emory from Parts Obsolete and also my son Andy. We will be bringing my 67 911S in Gulf Blue with a 2.7 twin plug motor and we believe we will have SWB horn grills for fog lights, and also SWB rear bumper end caps as well as far as new products.
March 14th, 2011 Hi, we just got back from the Los Angeles Literature show and also the Sunday swap meet. Unfortunately we sold out of the muffler tips, but we have more coming that are at the plater, and will be ready later this week. In addition we've put more Houndstooth into work, and will have this prior to the end of the month.
We will be at the Essen Techno Classica show, but we aren't sure what booth we will be at yet... stay tuned. We will have examples of all our current products plus prototypes of new items as well.
This site will be updated on a regular basis... we plan on adding new products as quickly as we can, and also items from our stock of rare original items, many of which are NOS.
